Art Corner
In which I show off five pieces I've drawn lately (meaning within the past couple of years).
This one is called Thor vs Superman. I drew it to raise some money for my go-to charity, Hero Initiative, who helps out those in our industry who’re going through a bad patch or have fallen more permanently on hard times. If you’re of a mind to, please consider throwing a few bucks their way.
My version of Superman was based on the Kirk Alyn portrayal, from long ago. My version of Thor has to be extrapolated from the available visual evidence.
This Captain America was a commission. He paid for Cap and I added the other folks in, because I felt like it. I always liked the spiked helmet version of Iron Man best.
Snow White, looking bad in the Business Office. Also a commission.
The customer asked for Black Bolt. I couldn’t resist adding Maximus the Mad.
This Ragman wasn’t technically a commission. I felt like drawing him, added in one of his pals, and a few more details over time, and eventually had a commission-like piece to sell in my online store. I don’t know that I added anything permanent or important to the Ragman mythos, but I know for a fact that I was the only one determined to draw every individual rag each time I drew him. Maybe that counts for something, neh?
That’s it for now. Look for more art anon. My commission list will open up again soon, so stay tuned here in These Foolish Games for the announcement. Until then, take care. Be good to each other.
Oh my gosh, that Ragman is wonderful. One of my favourite DC characters. Niche, and I understand that. Just kind of wish they'd make more limited series for him
